Training at Help Me Grow

 

We realize that the current situation with COVID-19 brings new realities and challenges. Help Me Grow Orange County is adapting and responding in a way that both prioritizes the health and safety of our team and allows us to continue serving Orange County professionals in the best way possible. Currently, we are offering a two-part virtual training that combines the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ-3), and the Ages and Stages Questionnaire: Social Emotional (ASQ: SE-2). This training covers recommended practice related to developmental screening of children Birth through 5 years of age and will be conducted via Zoom. 

 

This course meets the qualifications for 5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs as required by the board of Behavioral Sciences. CHOC Children's is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCs, and LEPs (#141829). CHOC Children's maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. Certificates will be provided for participants who complete an evaluation. Accommodations are available upon request. Grievances may be directed to Clinical Education.

  • Fee of $55 for Orange County professionals or $90 for out of  county professionals - must be submitted prior to receiving the Zoom link for access to the training 
  • Space will be limited 

 

Help Me Grow is also offering information on the OC Children's Screening Registry via recorded trainings on You Tube. These trainings will help new or potential users understand their participant type and viewing abilities in addition to becoming familiar with features of the Registry such as: login; child search/add; entering screening results; referrals; and reports.
